Pastor J. T. Kalejaiye told a story sometimes ago on how God promised him a Mercedes Benz car. He was expecting the car to have come early but to no avail but I kept hoping, believing in the efficacy of God’s word. It was December 31st, behold, no Mercedes Benz, my hope was still strong knowing that God is too faithful to fail anyone that trust in him. I was the in the Church preparing for the crossover service for the new year when someone called me out, behold, a Mercedes Benz car packed. Sir, this is your car he said. Hope and faith actualized the promise of God in his life.
Do you have faith to bring to reality what God has promised you since the beginning of this year? Or you have lost hope because you feel few hours from now, those that will make it to the new year (because not all will make it in. But you and your household shall make it in Jesus name) will be shouting “Happy new year”? Like the true story above, you must keep your hope alive by focusing on the Lord Jesus Christ with your faith on Him because He is not limited by hours, days, time and space. It won’t take God hours to change your life but just a moment, but you must first please Him with your faith in Him. Heb 11:6. He has the power to do all things and I know He can still do it for you because, “It is not over until 12am 2017.

* Father, I am not bothered about the few hours remaining in this year since I know that you are not limited by hours. My faith is in You Lord, do what only You can do for me in Jesus Name.
