Topic: Satan Has Lost His Right [Wednesday, 7th Dec. 2016]
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12
Before you received the life of God and your right as a son of God, through your faith in Jesus, Satan had the full right to your life. He could do whatever he wanted to do with it. He could make you sin at will, make you fall ill anytime, make you go through difficult times and live an unhappy life. Your life was totally under his control. Since you had Christ in your life, all that has changed. Satan has lost his right over you. He has lost his control over your life.
Right now, you are being led by and your life is now under the controlled direction of God’s Spirit in you (Romans 8:14). Your influence is no longer satan. He can no longer do with your life what he would want to again. Your parenthood has changed, because as many as received Jesus, to them He gave the legal right to be sons of God (John 1:12). You are no longer a product of the first Adam who was under the wimps and caprices of satan. You are a product of the Last Adam, Jesus the Christ. Because you are born, not of the will of man, nor by his blood, but of God (John 1:13).
In your blood stream flows the blood of Jesus. That’s where you now derive your life (Leviticus 17:14). This is why you are not susceptible to the control of satan, because satan has no control over what is God’s. You are now of God, and greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are of the Greater One, and the lesser one can’t control your life. When Satan comes with his usual deception to try to gain control over you, remind him that he has lost you. Remind him that you have a new Daddy. Remind him there is a new Sheriff in your life. Satan has lost you.

Prayer:
Thank You dear Lord for Your life in me. You are now in control over my life, through Your Spirit that is in me. I rule and reign over Satan. He has lost hold of me. His grip is off me. I am led, controlled, empowered, by the Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
