The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17. Read: Zeph 3:16-20
Like begets like. Because God is Mighty in power, He always wants to show Himself Mighty on behalf of His children. He always wants to prove to the enemy how powerful he is. When God steps into any battle or challenges, that battle is good as won because He is a man of war. A God who has never (and will never) loose a battle. When He showed up at the Red Sea, it parted for the Israelites to journey. God Almighty will show His Mightiness in your life in Jesus name.
Who will the Lord be in his/her midst? Only those who are on His side. The Bible in Isaiah 59:1-2 says, “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear”. The Lord is ever present in time of trouble to deliver, but your sin can render Him helpless in your case.
