Thought For The Day: Those who believe God sing; those who doubt God mourn.
It is confirmed throughout scriptures that people of faith are people of praise and worship. Praise is a major proof or evidence of faith. The easiest way to know that you are a believer is that you are a person given to praise and worship. Those who believe God sing; those who doubt God mourn.
Romans 4:20 tells us that Abraham did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Abraham praised God to the extent that in Genesis 22:5, when he was instructed by God to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, he told his servants to abide while he and his son go to the mountain to worship.
Depression kills faith. Anytime your praise level is low, it means you are down in faith. Those who worship the Lord acquire revelations from the Word of God faster than depressed people. Whatever tenses you up, fences you off from revelations.
Beloved, people of faith celebrate the fact that God is too faithful to fail. Faith celebrates God’s Word and word-based expectations. Praise God because you believe Him, and believe Him because you are praising Him and experiencing the reality of His Presence.
Remember this: Those who believe God sing; those who doubt God mourn.
