A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Only those that return are Restored

The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. Proverbs 21:16. Read: Luke 15:11-32

In life generally, there are times when one strays away from the truth and the way of understanding, when one finds him/herself in a gathering or company not befitting of his person, times one does things that are detrimental to ones health and life ignorantly, still, God overlooks because He doesn’t want anyone to perish. Christians fall short of God’s glory often, but then, it’s not your downfall or the gravity of your sin that matters(so long their is life), the ability to return to God matters most. Offending your spouse is not the issue but the humility to admit your mistake and apologize matters.

In the kingdom of God, only those that return are restored, and receive times of refreshing from the presence of God Acts 3:19. When Simon Peter denied his Master three consecutive times, he felt remorse, repented and returned, Jesus forgave him, restored and commissioned him. The prodigal son committed a grave sin by collecting his share of his father’s properties before his death, therefore, he ended up in a bad company, wandered out of the way of understanding and found himself in the congregation of the dead. After suffering much shame, he humbled himself and returned to his father and was restored. Wherever you’ve wandered out to, God is saying, come back home.

* God awaits your return to restore you. #CheerFulDayAtWork
