Topic: The Power That Works in You [21/5/2016]
Text: Ephesians 3:20 AMP

Most times, people have interpreted “the Power that works in you” in our opening scripture, as faith. Well, that is a good one, but looking at the preceding scriptures, I have come to understand that  Apostles Paul was not referring to faith. He was talking about the indwelling presence of God’s Spirit.

Ephesians 3:16 says, “that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” This is where the thought in the prayer of Apostle Paul starts from, and he points out the medium God is going to work out the prayer – His Spirit, Who is the custodian of His power.

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]” (Eph 3:20). God’s power at work within us, that is resident in us is able to produce God’s purposes through us, even much more than we, through the same power at work in us, pray, desire, think and dream about. Glory to God!!!

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Dear Loving Father, thank You for Your Spirit, Who is the custodian of the Power at work within me, is producing Your purposes through me, greater and superabundantly than I can ever think, desire and pray for, in Jesus name. Amen.
