A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: How Would You Feel? [17/09/2016]

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7. Read: Lk 15:6-10

When parents send their children overseas either to further in their education or for greener pastures, they’re full of hope, pray earnestly for the success of such child and await his/her return home. And when the child finally returns home, they call friends, families and neighbours for celebration. But when the child refuses to return home to his/her parents, they feel disappointed in that child, some would rain curses on the child that everything should go sore for him/her.

Many of us have done the same thing to our Creator God who taught it wise to send us to this world to oversee His creatures and finally, return back home (heaven) to give Him account of our assignment. We’ve turned this world to our permanent home and with our lifestyles and love for this world, we’ve sent messages to God that we’re not coming home again. Paul said, For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world. 2 Tim 4:10. Demas loved this world and forgot the place (heaven) he came from. When you return through Salvation to God, heaven organises a welcome party, but when you decline your returning, there is tears in heaven because God is not willing any should perish – you inclusive.
