But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:17. Read: 1 Jn 3:16-19

One of the pillars (and most pillar) that hold Christianity is LOVE. It was not sin that nailed Jesus to the cross but love for the world. Without love, there is no Christianity. And Jesus admonished us to follow in His footsteps of love which will make the world to know that we are His disciples indeed. This is one of the secrets of the early Church which was why they grew steadily and without measure.

Their love to one another was not lip love but indeed and truth. Each could sell their properties to meet the needs of fellow believers. No wonder God’s power was evidence in all they did for Christ. Acts 2:41-47. God’s blessings upon your life is for the benefits of other people. God told Abraham in Genesis 12:2 And I will bless thee, and thou shalt be a blessing.

But many believers today are a reflection of the prophesy of Isaiah. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Isa 56:11. Why should you claim to love when you watch your fellow brother languish in pain and hunger when you can easily helped? Love gives without hesitation.
