Topic: All Men Fail! [Friday, October 6, 2017]
(Micah 7:1-9; Proverbs 24:13-16; Psalm 37:23-25).
Welcome to today’s Upper Room divine encounter! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that failure is not the ultimate scandal. The most successful people are the ones who learn from their mistakes and turn their failures into opportunities. Dr. Alan said, “Everyone at one time or another has felt like a complete failure.” No matter how this year 2017 has been, that current or past mistakes means that you have put in some effort and that is commendable! That DELAY means God is up to something special! A failure / mistake teaches you something and adds to your experience. How many people are completely successful in every department of their lives?
Stop condemning yourself! You don’t know people’s private lives. You see their well-cut blazers, shoes, hairstyles, etc, but you don’t know where they failed yesterday! You are not a failure an you can never be! Learn and move forward! Failure is not you. Failure is not a person. Consider that mistakes as just an event that happened. Consider it as a temporary inconvenience, a stepping stone and not a destination. Always question yourself, “How can I improve the situation? What am I learning? I remember months ago, when I learnt a painful lesson on “WHO KEEPS YOUR PHONE!” My PHONE was used for so many criminal activities including the CLONING AND FAKING MY VOICE!
Of course the police on a tip off, arrested them and charged them to court and confessions were eventually made! In fact, one of our Pastors was involved! I later learnt from experts that all a criminal needed to CLONE your VOICE is just 3 minutes of your QUALITY voice time and they can make you talk for 3 hours as if it is you on any subject! Oh, a wicked world! Trusting people with my phones while I am on the altar preaching, was a big MISTAKE which I do not do again!
So you see, life is a journey! It’s time you stop taking ‘peeps’ and journeys into yesterday because God never consults your past to determine your future! You are fighting Satan in the war front. Most army generals in the world have one wound or the other. Most boxing champions in the world have one cut/scar or the other. Take that failure/mistake as a little injury and a sign of your fighting spirit. If you focus on God and your failure, it will heal. Know that success doesn’t make you and failure doesn’t break you! There is no future in the past. Stop condemning yourself! Move forward into a 2018 which is carrying your DECORATION!
