Topic: Going to Heaven is a Personal Choice

One of the reason why Jesus Christ said in Mark 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. This is because little children are sinless, they do not know their left from their right, nor good or evil, they live their lives innocently. The Herodias’ daughter as a child could not made any choice when she was presented with a blank cheque by the king, she ran to her mother who helped her to made the wrong choice because of hatred. Mark 6:22-29. But as a child begins to grow, from his/her parents, siblings, the society, friends, and the school, evil and good begin to present themselves to him/her and whichever one such child chooses become his/her lot in life.
Joshua asked the people to decide whom to serve, whether the living God or the gods of their fathers who could not saved them or the gods of the land they lived in. And he said to them, as for me and my household, we’ve made up our minds to serve the living God of Israel, we have made a personal choice to go with Him all the way because we believed that He is the way to heaven. Have you make personal choice to go to heaven at last by accepting Jesus into your heart? Jesus Christ is the only choice to make heaven.
