A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: He Still Forgives Today

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13. Read: Isaiah 1:18-20

Saul of Tarsus committed great havoc against the Church of God, he was an avowed enemy of God’s kingdom on earth who took an oath to see the destruction of the Church of God. He killed and imprisoned Christians. But in one of his usual journey to deal with Christians, he was arrested by Jesus and commissioned to defend the kingdom he was fighting against. His name was changed to Paul and became a preacher of the good news. Recounting the havoc he did to the Church, he regarded himself as unworthy to be one of the apostles. In another place, he called himself chief of sinners. But then, he said, But by the grace of God I am what I am. 1 Cor 15:10. This amazing grace of God that forgave Paul is still very much available today to address your own case.

No matter what you’ve done, God is always ready to forgive you if only you are willing to come to Him just the way you are, confess and forsake your sinful ways. He forgave Paul and many others of His enemies, He will forgive you too no matter how dark your sin is. Don’t let the devil deceive you, that the gravity of your sin is too high, therefore, God will not forgive you. No matter how dark and grievous your sin may be, go to Him and He will forgive and wash you clean like a snow.

* It’s your willingness that attracts God forgiving grace. #BlessedWeekEnd
