Topic: Faith Is A Conviction [17/9/2016]

Text: Hebrew 10:21-23

For our faith to be effective, it must get to a level where nothing shakes it out of us. We must be fully persuaded without an iota of doubt creeping in. Our faith must be our conviction. We must be fully convinced that what we need from God is already done. This is the level we must get to.

A Conviction is a firmly held belief; one that cannot be taking away from your grip. Nobody and nothing can stop or change a firm conviction. So also we must not allow anything or anyone sweep us away from our convictions in the finished work of Christ. This is the point where all things become possible. A firm conviction – faith – brings us to the realm of doing the impossible, because “all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

Conviction, in regards to faith, is not just being persuaded, but “being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, He is able also to perform” (Roman 4:21). Constant fellowship with God through His Word is the key to the door of this realm of faith. As you keep seeing the image of who you are and what God has done for you in His Word, you become convinced to the point of no return. Stay in the Word and let the Word bring you into full conviction of what God has done for you.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
As I look into the perfect law of liberty, I behold all that God has done for me. I am fully convinced and assured that I have all I need in life. Because they that trust in the Lord shall not lack any good thing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
