While Moses brought the law from God, Jesus brought grace to this world. The law could not solve the problem of sin but grace did. Grace is the unmerited favour of God obtained by man so dear to His heart. Before the birth of Jesus Christ, darkness and evil of all kinds was on the surface of the world. The teaching of the Pharisees lacked power and authority and could not cause any significant change but do more harm than good. Jesus’ birth was a miraculous one. Isa 7:14, Lk 1:34-35. He would ask you a question, do you want to be free? Jesus spoke with authority and power that drove evil spirits away from the people. He changed the course of nature, He brought light and life to all that sat in darkness. He did not only come to give Salvation but to also see the end of oppression and depression in the lives of people which is why He went about (during His earthly ministry) doing good to all and sundry.
Jesus is an agent of change! Everywhere He goes, He was just making changes, He never left a situation where He met it, He also made sure that there is a shift. This season is a season of great change! Jesus can change everything about you if you give Him chance to be the lord of your life. Jesus, change!
