A Promise For You From Bible Promises

A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Run After Your Life [19/07/2017]

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4. Read: Ezekiel 18:23-32

A Sunday school teacher once said, the reason why God is interested in the souls of men is because His part is in man. The Bible says in Gen 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”. Because of His Spirit in man that turned man into a living soul, God came to the earth in form of Jesus, sowed Himself to redeem man. He is the Bishop of our soul. Whenever you see a man running after a woman, it’s also because there’s a part of a man that is in a woman. Gen 2:22 confirm this truth. “And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man”.

Without the breath of God in a man, man has no life to live, hence, the Bible says, the Lord is your life. You must run after your life – which is God if you want to save it from destruction on the last day. God is not interested in your separation for destruction, He wants every soul to be saved. Running after your life to save it requires you turning to Jesus Christ in repentance and if you have known Him before but backslided, you must rededicate your life to Him to save it. God loves you dearly because He’s your life.

* Refusing to turn to Jesus is running away from your life to destruction, but turning your life to Him is wisdom to live a life without end.
