Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. Psalms 73:18-19. Read: Eccl 8:11-14
The question of many people is usually, why does God Almighty permit wickedness on earth? Why is it that the wicked prosper in their wickedness and live longer than the righteous? Why do they speak against the the Most High, yet they’re not punished? Why do they increase in their evil and wickedness on a daily basis? Beloved, the above questions are worth asking. We must also know that everything the Almighty did was perfectly done. To the first question, God does not permit wickedness on earth but man gave the room for wickedness to come in and corrupt their good heart after disobeying God’s instruction at the garden of Eden. The virus Satan injected in man brought wickedness to the earth. Everything the Lord created was good, nothing evil. Because of this virus that brought wickedness in the heart of man, God left the earth and regretted creating man which led to the destruction of all the unrepentant men at the beginning with flood. Gen 6:5-7.
Noah the righteous, his family and some few animals escaped the flood then the wickedness ended. One of the reasons men grow thick in their wickedness is recorded in Eccl 8:11 which says, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil”. God only give wicked people time to repent of their sins. We shall continue tomorrow by God’s grace. Remain blessed
