SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. Genesis 25:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your future is as strong as your character.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

In most endeavours of life, the quest for profit is the basis of pursuit. Nobody pursues anything until they are sure that it is profitable. The eventual outcome of many people’s lives, both in Scripture and in contemporary times, clearly demonstrated the fact that character is profitable.

Indeed, character is more profitable than compromise. It is more rewarding than compromise. So, it is never a waste of time to live an upright life.

Beloved, it is crucial to understand the power and profit of positive character so we can consciously pursue it and experience a fulfilled destiny.

Now, what are the profits of a positive character?

  1. Character is the strength or backbone of destiny (Genesis 49:3-4). There is no destiny that carries strength where character is lacking. Your future is as strong as your character. A weak character equals a weak future.
  2. Character is the guarantee of Divine Presence (Amos 3:3). God never companies with people of bad character.
  3. Character gives voice and audience in life. Nobody wants to listen to the advice of a thief or a kidnaper. Nobody wants to hear the instructions of a drunkard or a prostitute.
  4. Character is the key to excellence and distinction in life (Genesis 25:23). People stand out to the extent to which they maintain standard. It is character that separates one person from another. Children from the same parents, colleagues in the same office, contemporaries in the same school, etc. are separated in the future by their character. How we live today determines where we end tomorrow. It is standard that makes people stand out. If you see a man who stands out, that man maintains standard.

Beloved, it is not certificate or ethnicity that distinguishes people, it is character. So, if you want to stand out in life, pay attention to your character and ensure you develop a solid character. Nobody is specially gifted to have character; you must consciously make a choice to uphold a godly and positive character.

Remember this: Your future is as strong as your character.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

  1. Invest in character development; get materials, books like “Who Are You” and audio messages like “The Power of positive character” by Dr Paul Enenche and let them shape your character.
  2. Ask God for the grace to uphold positive character.

PRAYER: Lord, draw me close to You and help me to live and upright life. I stand out in my generation as I uphold godly character, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
