TOPIC: God Deals With Us In The Arena Of Grace (TREM Devotional 7 September 2025)
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” – Hebrews 8:12 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
Beloved, if you do not understand that Jesus Christ has completely dealt with sin on your behalf, the enemy will keep condemning you. After you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, sin is no longer an issue between you and God. If you fail to grasp your place in Christ and live from that understanding, the devil will keep accusing you and make it difficult for you to enjoy the fullness of what God has already made available.
For many years, the Church has operated with a limited revelation of how God deals with us. The Church is not Jew, neither is it Gentile. The Church is a New Creation in Christ Jesus. You must understand that God does not deal with you the same way He dealt with Israel under the Law, nor the Gentiles outside of covenant. You are now the body of Christ. You and Christ have become one. If this distinction is not made clear in your heart, you will not live in the reality of your New Creation identity.
Yes, I believe the soul that sins shall die as the scripture declares, and I am completely against sin. I also honour the Ten Commandments and the moral laws of God. However, we must understand that they were never given as a means for man to attain righteousness by his own effort. From the beginning, God’s intention was always to deal with man in the arena of grace. The Law was given only to bring man to the end of himself, so that he could see his need for a Saviour.
In the Old Testament, the principle was you reap what you sow. But in the New Covenant of grace, God takes man out of the equation. He does not deal with us based on our performance, but on Christ’s finished work. Scripture tells us that it is the goodness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), not His judgment or anger. God is no longer angry with you. He is good to you, not because of what you do, but because He is good.
Child of God, rest in this truth: You are under grace, not under law. Live free, live boldly, and let the goodness of God transform you from the inside out.
