OPENING PRAYER: Father, please help me to keep trusting you even if the situation is contrary.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: The leaders should remind the members of last week’s lesson on being watchful and vigilant to avoid falling into mistakes others have made in the past.

MEMORY VERSE: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:” – Luke 5:5 (KJV)

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 5:5-9 (KJV)

5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

LESSON INTRODUCTION: Believers should have in their minds that God decides when it is over, a condemned case of Lazarus with a stinking dead body in John 11 received divine attention and reversal, which is why you don’t need to be discouraged in your challenging situation; know that God has a good plan for you.

LESSON AIM: To make members understand that challenges are part of the experience to share as believers, but you are not abandoned.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to;

Know that ever-present God never leaves His own.

Know that resources required to attain your desired level are endless.

TEXT REVIEW: Luke 5:5-9

Working hard without God’s factor ends in frustration and groaning.

Saying YES to what heaven requests ends her and testimonies.

When you break through, remember your colabourers

When tide changes to favour you, return to God for thanksgiving.

LESSON OUTLINE ONE: REDEEMER IS WITH YOU.

Our Redeemer is Jesus of Nazareth, the eternal Son of the Most High God, who promised to never leave nor forsake His own. Hebrews 13:5.

When the Redeemer is with you;

a. The storm of life will never overcome you. Mark 4:37-39

b. The death sentence assigned against you will be reversed. Luke 7:11-15.

c. Your abandoned dreams will be awoken. Genesis 41:14.39-44

d. Adversaries will work to your advantage. Genesis 45-5

e. You will be remembered and assisted.

f. The battle will be decided in your favour

g. The proceeds from your labour will surpass your thoughts. Luke 59

LESSON OUTLINE TWO: YOUR RESOURCES ARE ENDLESS.

When you have divine backing, your success and breakthroughs will be endless.

Resources of anyone with God are great because;

a. God is your shepherd, you shall not want. Psalms 23

b. Wealth and riches belong to Him. Haggai 2:8.

c. Your hands had been blessed to prosper. Judges 4:24

d. Your Maker is the creator of heaven and earth.

e. The finished work of redemption at calvary ended your groaning assigned you to glowing. John 19:30.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO ENJOY GOD’S ENDLESS RESOURCES?

  • Lean on His mercy for you to enjoy it. Psalm 51:1,59:10
  • Believe Him for His abiding presence to gain access to your set time. Palms 102-13
  • Do everything to gain God’s mind and trust. Proverbs 11:30
  • Trust Him for His assistance. Proverbs 3-5,6
  • Believe God and you will be established as His prophet, you will.

SUMMARY: When you break through, remember your co-labourers.

CONCLUSION: No one can reverse God’s action, no one can oppose what He does. Isaiah 43:13, when He’s with you, worries are over!

WEEKLY ACTIVITY: What made David enjoy endless victories throughout his reign as king of Israel?

PRAYER POINTS.

  1. Father, please do not allow me to forget you when my harvest begins.
  2. Father, keep me on fire till the end.
  3. Father, let Your hands be on me for special blessings and cause me to prosper.
  4. Father, You are the Creator of heaven and earth, all vacuum in me with your fullness.
  5. Father, with the finished work of redemption at Calvary, end groaning in my life.

GOLDEN DIET FOR THE WEEK.

MONDAY: Believe Him for His abiding presence to gain access to your set time. Psalms 102:13.

TUESDAY: Though life may not be perfect, never find any reason to be melancholy, Judges 15:18

WEDNESDAY: Father, don’t let me embark on an assignment that will terminate my life. 2 Kings 1:10

THURSDAY: Guide me through your mercy, never to fall into destruction. 2 Kings 8:1

FRIDAY: Let me see your miraculous happenings and enjoy them this year. 2 Kings 7:2

SATURDAY: Do everything to gain God’s mind and trust. Proverbs 11:30

SUNDAY: Lean on His mercy for you to enjoy it. Psalm 51:1,59:10
