7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
MESSAGE:
Life is filled with many intimidating situations that can make a person become worried or fearful. I remember the story of a man of God who was sleeping soundly in his room late at night when suddenly, a whistling sound filled the atmosphere. He was jolted out of his sleep when he heard things in his sitting room being scattered. The man was slightly unsettled about the intruder and how he entered his house. So, he tiptoed into the sitting room and saw a demon at work. Unstartled, he ordered, “Hey! Stop! When you are done, make sure you rearrange my sitting room and get out of here.” Then, he went back to sleep.
God wants His children to be confident and bold wherever they go because they carry His presence in them. Demons and sicknesses should see a genuine child of God and flee.
My dear child, rather than becoming afraid, you can draw strength and confidence from God’s word to guide you through any difficult situation you may be facing. When you are experiencing fear, remember today’s Bible reading: confess it, believe it, and you will overcome.

I am powerful in Christ; I cannot be intimidated.
