TOPIC: The Powerful Meal (Open Heaven for Teens, 4 December 2025)

BIBLE READING: 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
MESSAGE:
The Holy Communion is a powerful meal as it represents Jesus’ flesh and blood. In 1 Corinthians 11:25, Christ commanded that the “eating of His flesh and drinking of His blood” should be done in remembrance of Him. The Holy Communion should be taken as frequently as possible to remind ourselves of the reason for the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Communion is the most powerful meal on earth because it can perform miracles. For example, if a sick person eats the Holy Communion the right way, such a fellow can receive his or her healing. I experienced this many years ago as a young believer. I battled malaria constantly until l keyed into the power of the Holy Communion.
You must note, however, that there are dangerous consequences for people who take the Holy Communion with sin in their lives. If a sinner eats this meal, he or she has done so unworthily and would be liable to death – either spiritual or physical. My dear child, if you need a breakthrough in any area of life, take the Holy Communion often and make sure you take it worthily, without sin.

Do not eat the Holy Communion unworthily.
