SCRIPTURE: And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. 2 Samuel 22:2-3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever is consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The aim of today’s seeds of Destiny is to rekindle faith in the deliverance capacity of The Almighty God. This is because it is possible to come to a point where one begins to doubt if God really protects His people.
Yes, we live in dangerous times, but that is not the news; the news is that no matter how dangerous the world is, and no matter how wicked people have become, we still serve a God who is eternally committed to the deliverance and preservation of His people. That is why Psalm 23:4 says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

So, it does not matter what we pass through; we are only walking through it, and we are not stopping there. So, God is eternally committed to the preservation of His people even in dangerous times.
Beloved, let it be clear to you that times change, people change, and situations change, but God cannot change, and His Word also cannot change. We serve an unchanging God in changing times. Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore, the sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Whatever is consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The same Word that worked in times past is available and is still working today irrespective of the multiplication of men and their evil.
One of our brothers in church, a police officer who worships at Dunamis Church Ugbokolo in Benue state, gave a striking testimony some time ago. He said God appeared to him in a prophetic dream encounter using my face and gave him water to drink. He said that I told him in that encounter: “This is for power,” and he drank it. That was more like “Spiritual cooking” or spiritual fortification.
The brother went out on assignment after that encounter, and he and his team ran into armed robbers; they were ambushed. Two of his colleagues were killed, and the bullet came towards him, but it could not enter his body. It was impossible for the bullet to penetrate him because God had already fortified him in the dream. When power jams power, the lower or lesser power must bow.
Now, I declare that every arrow fired from the pit of hell against you is re-fired back to senders!
REMEMBER THIS: Whatever is consuming others is not permitted to consume you.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Refuse to believe that because something bad happens to others, it must happen to you.
- Load at least a verse of the Scripture into your spirit daily; let it keep your faith in God charged.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your commitment to preserving my life and destiny. I am secured in You Lord. No devil can take me out of life before my time, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
