TOPIC: Flee Séxual Immorality (Open Heaven for Teens, 4 March 2026)
MEMORISE: That she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside. Genesis 39:12
BIBLE READING: 1 Corinthians 6:16-18
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
MESSAGE:
Joseph was a teenager who feared God and secured his future by living a holy life. Even though the Holy Spirit had not yet been revealed in his time, he must have been taught the laws of God by his father, Jacob. He understood that holiness is a requirement for every child of God, which was the reason he fled from Potiphar’s wife, refusing to sin against God.

Sadly, nowadays, some teenagers who claim to be born again and even speak in tongues compromise their faith by engaging in secret immoral acts. They sleep with members of the opposite sex or get involved in same-sex perversions and then hide their sin under the guise of friendships or spirituality. They seem to forget that God sees everything that is done in secret, and He will judge everyone accordingly.
When Potiphar’s wife tried to lure Joseph to sleep with her, he did not wait to negotiate with her or pray; rather, he ran for his life. Fornication is a serious offence against God, and the best way to avoid it is to run away when sexual temptations arise, just as Joseph did. My dear child, set clear boundaries with members of the opposite sex and run away from anyone who wants to lure you into sin, regardless of the person’s gender.
KEY POINT:
When séxual temptation comes, flee!
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Mark 10:1-31, Numbers 31-32
HYMN 12: Lead Us Heavenly Father Lead Us
1 Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us
o’er the world’s tempestuous sea;
guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us,
for we have no help but thee;
yet possessing every blessing,
if our God our Father be.
2 Saviour, breathe forgiveness o’er us:
all our weakness thou dost know;
thou didst tread this earth before us,
thou didst feel its keenest woe;
lone and dreary, faint and weary,
through the desert thou didst go.
3 Spirit of our God, descending,
fill our hearts with heavenly joy,
love with every passion blending,
pleasure that can never cloy:
thus provided, pardoned, guided,
nothing can our peace destroy.
