1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

MFM Devotional For Today 2026 MESSAGE:
In the Parable of Ten Virgins, Jesus compares His coming to a wedding for which we all must be prepared. To be prepared is to make necessary arrangements and be ready for something that is going to happen.
Conversion is one thing, but safeguarding it, building upon it, and eventually making it to Heaven is another thing entirely. Remember, not all who came out of Egypt made it to the Promised Land!

The ten women were all virgins; the five foolish ones took their lamps but took no extra oil along while the five wise ones took their lamps as well as extra vessels of oil. Due to the delay in the Bridegroom’s arrival, they all slumbered and slept off. However, when the Bridegroom came, the wise virgins had extra oil for their lamps while the foolish ones did not. The cares and worries, trials and tribulations, toils, pains and sufferings, adverse conditions. deprivations, sicknesses, human limitations and various negative experiences of life have wearied a lot of Christians in these last days, thereby; causing many to be spiritually careless and yielding to all sorts of compromise, and many becoming completely complacent.
Beloved, Jesus is coming back again, and you need to be prepared so that He does not catch you off-guard like the five foolish virgins. Your belief or unbelief does not stop His coming. The Scripture is very clear on this matter. Our Lord Jesus Himself, in view of His imminent departure from His disciples said in John 14:3; “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” Are you striving with all your life not to be disqualified from reigning with Him in eternity? Are you truly expecting the second advent of Jesus Christ, which may happen at any time?
Let this continue to ring in your ears – Jesus is indeed coming back again! Therefore, be prepared!

MORNING
- Father Lord, wake me up from any form of spiritual sleep, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, strengthen me to walk worthy and pleasing unto You, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, empower me to be careful in my walk with You, in the Name of Jesus.

- O Lord, let sin not have dominion over my life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, let me never lose my focus on You, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, I refuse to be tired or weary in my walk with You, in the Name of Jesus.
- I receive grace to see Jesus at last and reign with Him, in the Name of Jesus.
