TOPIC – Triumph Through Worship (Open Heaven for Teens, 16 July 2026)
MEMORISE: Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? – Exodus 15:11
BIBLE READING: Psalms 34:1-4
1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
MESSAGE:
To triumph means to overcome a difficult phase or circumstance. Experiencing great victories over difficulties and the battles of life require the intervention of God, and such experiences often lead to the expression of Worship and praise to God. Today’s memory verse is an example of such an experience. The Israelites sang songs of praise to God after He delivered them from the hands of Pharaoh, parted the Red Sea, caused them to walk on dry land, and caused their enemies to drown in the sea.
Beloved, you can also praise God in anticipation of any victory that you need. This is one of the ways I fight my battles as a child of God. Rather than bind the devil before preaching any sermon, I usually go on my knees to worship my God, and He steps into our meetings and performs Wonders.
My dear child, I challenge you to praise and worship God in advance today and watch Him arise to grant you victory over any difficult situation you may be passing through.
REFLECTION:
Do you praise God or complain when you are faced with difficult situations?
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Luke 1:1-23, Deuteronomy 31-32
HYMN 1 – ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS’ NAME
1 All hail the power of Jesus’ name!
Let angels prostrate fall.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all!
2 O seed of Israel’s chosen race
now ransomed from the fall,
hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all!
3 Let every tongue and every tribe
responsive to his call,
to him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
To him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all!
4 Oh, that with all the sacred throng
we at his feet may fall!
We’ll join the everlasting song
and crown him Lord of all.
We’ll join the everlasting song
and crown him Lord of all.
