And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. – Exodus 3:19 KJV
MESSAGE
There is a devil in this world whose mission is to resist the plan of God for your life. Scripture warns us not to be ignorant of his devices. The blessings of heaven do not simply fall into your lap; they must be activated by faith. Faith takes hold of what grace has already provided.
Exodus 3:19 recounts the moment God called Moses to deliver the children of Israel. God said, “And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not with a mighty hand.” Even though it was God who commanded their release, He prepared Moses for resistance. Likewise, when God calls you, opposition will come, but it is not a sign of failure, it is a stage for God’s power to manifest.
The devil will always oppose God’s plan, just as he opposed Moses, but his opposition is limited because he has already been defeated on the cross. His resistance is an opportunity for God’s mighty hand to be demonstrated in your life. Exodus 3:20 declares, “And I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof. And after that, he will let you go.”
Whenever you face resistance, it signals that you are a candidate for signs, wonders, and miracles. Do not give up! Keep your eyes fixed on God’s promises. Every obstacle set to stop you from experiencing His goodness will be dismantled, and every altar that has been used against your progress shall be destroyed. You are destined to see the victory God has prepared for you in the land of the living.
