THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is the platform for possessing our inheritance and experiencing answered prayers.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that faith is essential for accessing our inheritance as contained in the promises of God through His Word. Everything God has made available for His children is accessed through faith. Faith is the spiritual arm with which believers receive their possessions, inherit the promises, and secure answers to prayers.
Our possibilities in God may be equal, but our realities are different because faith differs in level. The limit of a person’s faith is the limit of their inheritance and manifestations in life.
Now, why is faith such a non-negotiable necessity?
- Possessions answer to faith. Hebrews 6:12 says: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Furthermore, Hebrews 11:33 reveals how men of old subdued kingdoms and obtained promises through faith. Beloved, inheritance in God answers to faith. No wonder, Psalm 27:13 says: I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. This means faith believes before manifestation appears. Faith sees the possibility ahead of physical reality. The promises of God are received by the arm of faith. That is why the paralysis of faith results in the bankruptcy of inheritance. When your faith is weak, your chances of possessing your inheritance are bleak. The limit of your faith is the limit of your inheritance.
- Faith is the force behind answered prayers. Hebrews 11:6 says, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.Mark 11:24 further tells us: What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Beloved, faith is a vital requirement for answered prayers. Many people pray, but not many truly expect answers because faith is absent from their prayers.
The faith content of prayer is what determines the possibility of answers. Prayer must not be based on sentiment, emotions, or assumptions, but on faith powered by revelation or insight from the Word of God. Therefore, to pray effectively, you must know that God is real; you must know what He has said concerning your situation; you must do what He expects of you and stand confidently on His promises.
Faith stands on the integrity of God’s Word. It approaches God with confidence, not because of feelings, but because of revelation and obedience. When you know God’s Will and align with His principles, your prayer is offered from the position of faith and expectation.
For example, a person praying for financial blessing while refusing to give or tithe is neglecting the principles that govern divine provision. Scripture says, Give, and it shall be given unto you… (Luke 6:38). It also says, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse… (Malachi 3:10). Faith is not merely asking God for results; it is obeying God’s instructions while trusting Him to fulfil His Word.
Beloved, when revelation, obedience, and confidence align together, faith becomes solid, and prayer produces undeniable results.
REMEMBER THIS: Faith is the platform for possessing inheritance and experiencing answered prayers.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Build your faith continually through the study of God’s Word.
- Refuse faith paralysis and remain confident in God’s promises.
- Pray from revelation and not from mere emotion or sentiment.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to walk in higher dimensions of faith. Help me to possess my inheritance and experience answers to prayers continually, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
