17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
MESSAGE:
A Yoruba proverb says, “It is what a bird eats that gives it strength to fly.” It means that a hungry bird may not be able to fly long distances or fly at all. I want you to know that the quality of the information you feed your mind with, will determine how high you will fly and how far you will go in life.
Good knowledge is only gained when you feed your mind with the right things. Therefore, you must have the desire to acquire knowledge and apply it wisely. Read books across different disciplines, attend seminars and conferences, watch documentaries, and listen to podcasts that documentaries, and listen to podcasts that promote godly values. Do everything you can to gain good knowledge; knowing a little about everything will serve you well in the future.
My dear child, don’t spend hours scrolling aimlessly on social media or chatting away with other people. I usually say that those who make the news don’t watch it. The people making waves online do not even have time to consume a lot of online content. Be wise; feed your mind with good knowledge.
