TOPIC – They Worked Righteousness (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 12 October 2026)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 11:33-35 (KJV)
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

MFM Devotional For Today 2026 MESSAGE:
The Fire Scripture for today introduced us to the exploits of men of faith that had lived before us, and the part of their exploits that we will be considering for today’s devotion is the one that says “they worked righteousness.” Believers are expected to perform signs and miracles as proof of their supernatural lives and dominion (Mark 16:17–18). The working of righteousness is also part of the legacy of faith that God wants us to demonstrate as children of God.

The entire nation of Babylon was converted for God by the three Hebrew boys and Daniel during their days. To save a nation from the power of darkness, we need men that will not just perform miracles but also work righteousness. A time like this in the nation demands the rise of men of righteousness that will live and speak the truth, men of character that will not flinch in the face of opposition.
This reminds me of the story of Peter Cartwright, who was a circuit-riding Methodist preacher back in the nineteenth century. He stood tall and he shot straight. On one occasion, Cartwright was getting ready to preach to a very large congregation when he was told that the President, Andrew Jackson would be in the audience. His friends, who knew Mr. Cartwright well, asked him to make sure that his remarks were positive and inoffensive.
Peter Cartwright preached his sermon. Somewhere in that sermon he said, “I have been told that Andrew Jackson is in this congregation. And I have been asked to guard my remarks. What I must say is that Andrew Jackson will go to hell if he doesn’t repent of his sin.” The congregation, of course, was aghast. Yet after service, President Jackson made his way to Peter Cartwright and extended his hand. “Sir,” the president said, “If I had a regiment of men like you, I could transform the world.”
Beloved, we need men and women who love Jesus more than they love their personal peace.

- Father, make me a true worshipper, in the Name of Jesus.
- This year and beyond, I shall make the praise and worship of Jehovah my preoccupation, in the Name of Jesus.
- O God, as I worship You today, give me resounding and irreversible victory, in the Name of Jesus.

- O God, as I worship You today, let me experience Your intervention and help in all my affairs, in the Name of Jesus.
- My Father, accept my worship and let it open my personal Heavens, in the Name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and beautify my life with Your glory, in the Name of Jesus.
- O God, as I worship You continually this year, bless me with Your presence and peace, in the Name of Jesus.
