TOPIC: Ruling Through Prayer (Seeds Of Destiny 15 October 2026)

SCRIPTURE: And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. – Genesis 32:28

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whenever you stand with God, whatever bows before God bows before you.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE

Prayer is more than a spiritual exercise; it is a platform for both spiritual and physical dominion. Every genuine prayer altar is an altar of authority where ordinary men receive supernatural capacity to rule in life.

It is at the place of prayer that people prevail with God and prevail with men. For example, in our anchor Scripture, Jacob wrestled with God in prayer, and his identity changed from Jacob to Israel. The Scripture boldly testified that as a prince, Jacob had power with God and with men and prevailed (Genesis 32:28).

The question is, how does prayer make a person rule?

  1. Prayer brings a person into alignment with God.
Prayer gives a person a stand with God and a stand before God. No wonder, Elijah declared, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand…(1 Kings 17:1). A man of prayer is a man who stands with God. A woman of prayer is a woman who stands before God. And whenever you stand with God, whatever bows before God bows before you. When prayer brings you into alignment with God, wherever you appear, God and the hosts of heaven appear.
  2. Prayer establishes the rule, the reign, and dominion of God on the earth.
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He said, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven(Matthew 6:9-10). Prayer is the platform where we enforce the rule, the reign, and dominion of God upon the earth. At the place of prayer, divine dominion is established over situations and circumstances.
  3. Prayer gives us access to the mind, will, and plan of God.
Prayer grants us access to divine wisdom. Before Jesus multiplied the five loaves and two fishes, the Bible says, He himself knew what he would do(John 6:6). At the place of prayer, we connect with the mind of God, and when we access His wisdom, we access authority and rulership because Scripture says, By me kings reign, and princes decree justice (Proverbs 8:15-16). Joseph ruled in Egypt by Divine Wisdom, the Wisdom of God.
  4. Prayer connects a person with supernatural power and authority.
Beloved, to know prayer is to know power. Jacob prevailed in life because he prevailed in prayer. Jesus also declares that there are dimensions of authority that come only by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:19-21). Prayer positions a person in authority, royalty and rulership. Prayer makes you a prince like Jacob so you can have power with God and with men to prevail in all circumstances of life.

REMEMBER THIS: Whenever you stand with God, whatever bows before God bows before you.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Maintain a consistent prayer life every day.
  2. Pray for the establishment of God’s rule in every area of your life.
  3. Ask God to grant you wisdom, authority, and dominion through prayer.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer. Draw me closer to You and grant me power with You and with men. Let Your dominion be established in every area of my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
