Pastor E. A. Adeboye once said, when a man had chased a lady for so long and finally got her, he calls himself a champion. By the time he eventually lays on top of the lady, within his heart he begins to say, finally, I got her, while the lady would begin to say within her, fool, down here is where I wanted you and you are there. Chasing after a lady who is not your legal wife is chasing after poverty and death. Bible says in Proverbs 6:25 “Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids”. “This is because beauty is deceitful, and favour is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised”.
Why do you want to die before your time? Our memory verse says, she has cast down many wounded and many strong men has been slain by her. She slayed Samson the Nazarite. Those days, when a lady approached you, you boast about it to your friends, ‘She approached me’, but now that ones eyes are enlightened by God’s words, it’s clear that it was not smartness but foolishness. She approached you because the devil wants to steal, kill and destroy your glorious destiny. Each time you commit sexual sin, something precious dies inside of you.
* Don’t wash your glorious future for just five seconds pleasure.
