READ: John 7:37-39
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
MESSAGE:
The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Trinity. After the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus into Heaven, the Holy Spirit was sent to comfort us and bring to our remembrance all the things Jesus taught while on earth. He is the still voice who corrects and guides everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. He also helps us to overcome temptations.
Therefore, a Spirit-filled Christian is one who submits himself/herself to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He/she does nothing without first asking the Holy Spirit: this makes him/her spiritually mature and live above sin.
Every Christian is filled with a measure of the Holy Spirit, but it takes growth in the Lord to have more of Him. One beautiful thing about the Holy Spirit’s in-filling is that it is continuous. You cannot be too filled with the Holy Spirit, but you can have less of Him. For the Holy Spirit to fill you continuously, you need to spend more time in fellowship with Him and obey Him when He gives you an instruction.

HYMN 16 – Breathe On Me
- Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love the way you love,
And do what you would do. - Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Until my heart is pure,
Until my will is one with yours,
To do and to endure. - Breathe on me, Breath of God,
So shall I never die,
But live with you the perfect life
For all eternity.
