My year of Great Deliverance and Fresh Glory (Genesis 45:7, 1 Chronicles 11:14, Psalms 18:50, Job 29:20, Luke 4:18-19)

As January 1, 2026 approaches, many people seek advice and guidance from spiritual leaders. Dr. Daniel K. Olukoya, who founded and leads Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has shared his annual prophetic insights for the new year. His message provides followers with prayer points, practical wisdom, and strategies to help them succeed, encouraging them to pray thoughtfully, act wisely, and confidently follow God’s plan. It aims to help believers understand what is best to accept or avoid, as well as how to handle life’s challenges.

During the “Pray Your Way Into 2026” crossover service, Dr. Olukoya presented 21 major revelations for the coming year, stressing the importance of staying alert spiritually, maintaining a strong prayer life, and living righteously. The following section lists all his prophetic declarations for 2026.

MFM 2026 PROPHETIC OUTLOOK

  1. A fast, strange and troublesome year; another flying year.
  2. The trends of 2025 will prophetically flow into 2026, and we have to re-strategise spiritually.
  3. A year filled with surprises; good surprises for the righteous and bad surprises for the unrighteous.
  4. This year, the tables of evil traders within churches shall be turned upside down.
  5. This is a year of strange and mysterious lifting for many believers; a year of divine recompense.
  6. This year, heavens will empower strong evangelists so that evangelism will thrive.
  7. This year, we need united and intensive intercession against strange happenings and explosive fires. Many of these things are not natural.
  8. This year, the mighty hand of God shall be significantly felt in many nations. Nations that practise righteousness shall be well.
  9. It is a tragic year for traitors and disloyal ones.
  10. A year of tragedy for unfaithful married people
  11. This needs a lot of prayers; this year, there will be a renewed strategy of the kingdom of darkness to recruit children. A lot of damage has been done already.
  12. This year, God will pass through many nations, families, and churches to reward and judge. Nations that ignore righteousness will experience confusion.
  13. I am worried to tell you that this year will be a year of big trouble for the prayerless. The powerless power some people depend on will fail.
  14. This year, for so many who can pray, all the past losses shall be mysteriously and bountifully restored.
  15. This year, you will do yourself a world of favour by separating from evil associations; it will yield plenty of dividends and benefits.
  16. This year, spiritual procrastination is very dangerous.
  17. Bottom line, the year 2025 is dovetailing into 2026; it is not a year to be prayerless.

KEYS FOR SURVIVAL IN 2026

  1. Regular fasting and prayer. Try to fast at least twice a week.
  2. Have violent faith. The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God.
  3. Pray the way you have never prayed before. Use the principle of PUSH – Pray Until Something Happens.
  4. Avoid fear, worry and anxiety – Those three things have been sent forth to kill people. Be careful!
  5. Learn to encourage yourself. The Bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord. Nobody will come and encourage you most times.
  6. Do not compare yourself to anybody else. Even if they are mocking you, stick to your God. You are an original; do not become a photocopy.
  7. Focus on your strengths and your potential, not on your limitations.
  8. Strive for excellence in whatever you do.
  9. Be a God pleaser, not a people pleaser. One mark of failure is trying to please everybody. It is not possible!
  10. Learn to hear from God. Many problems and tragedies we experience is because we move when heaven did not ask us to move.
As a believer, the day you begin to hear from God, that day your progress as a believer begins.
  11. Be holy. Live a holy life. Avoid a dirty life this year. Do not go to where the enemy will cage you.
  12. Never speak or think negatively about yourself. It will be waging war against your divine agenda.
  13. Set goals for yourself this year. The poorest man is not the one without money but the one without visions and goals.
  14. Be an addict of the Bible. Let the word of God dwell richly in you.
  15. Be disciplined. Practise self-control. Control your passions, your temper, your speaking, your emotions, and your appetite; it is not everywhere you go that you eat. Be careful.
  16. Work hard this year. Do not be found among the lazy ones.
  17. Form the habit of praising God constantly and consistently. The psalmist says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not his benefits.”
  18. Be honest. Let God find honesty in you.
  19. Practise Christian love.
  20. Be time conscious.

The Bible says, “Teach us to number our days, so that we can apply our hearts to wisdom.”
