5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

MFM Devotional For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
In this discourse, two words “truth” and “wavering” stand out. They need to be addressed first in order to drive home the real message in today’s topic.
According to the dictionary meaning, the word “truth” implies the real facts about a situation. However, a seasoned writer described truth as a “prayerful entity”. He further likens truth to an oil which will always rise to the surface. It is an indestructible fact that will remain constant no matter how long it takes to cover it. That is why the Bible instructs in Proverbs 23:23, “Buy the truth and sell it not.” On the other hand, the word “waver’ symbolises to lose strength, determination or purpose, especially temporarily. In this context, therefore, “without wavering” is the exact opposite. It is to stand firm and be resolute. The Bible equates a person who wavers to a wave of sea driven with wind and tossed. Such a person cannot receive anything from the Lord because he is double minded and unstable in his mind (James 1:8).

As a true believer, you must have absolute faith in God before you can please Him. No wonder the Bible affirms, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him” (Hebrew 6:11). Therefore, stand for truth and fear not because it is only the truth you know and apply that can help you in the hour of need or save you in times of trouble.
Are you in trouble in your career or in your business? Begin to examine yourself today. Have you been truthful to your customers, your colleagues, your superiors? Are you the type that wavers or vacillates when you are supposed to declare the truth, due to selfish interest?
Today, make up your mind because it is the truth you know and you practise that can set you free.

- Faith to please God, come upon my life, in the Name of Jesus.

- Powers assigned to make me deny my God in the presence of provocation, die, in the Name of Jesus.
- I refuse to consult beggarly powers because of my problems, in the Name of Jesus.
- Bewitchment assigned to take me to wrong gods, die, in the Name of Jesus.
- I shall not be moved by the tricks of the devil, in the Name of Jesus.
