39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

MFM Devotional For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
One thing a believer should always pray and guard against is spiritual dehydration as its consequences are very grave to the entire life of the believer.
Having understood the causes of dehydration, let us now look at its symptoms. Some of the symptoms are: thirst, headache, dry skin, muscle cramps, dry tongue and mouth etc. All these are very serious issues. No wonder Jesus was pleading passionately as reflected in our memory verse for today: In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink (John 7:37). The Master knew many would suffer undue hardship and unwarranted oppression as a result of spiritual dehydration.

What are the symptoms of spiritual dehydration? Evil spiritual thirst is the first symptom. This is when a person begins to crave and lust after those things the Lord forbids us from engaging in. Many Believers today have evil spiritual thirst for worldliness and sensual pleasure. Check yourself beloved whether there is evil thirst in your life.
Spiritual headache is another symptom. Figuratively speaking, headache speaks of trouble and stress of any form. A christian suffering from dehydration will have alot of headache to contend with from this world, satan and the old man. He may move from trouble to trouble from time to time. Dry skin spiritually as a symptom of spiritual dehydration talks of fading life. Spiritual dehydration will take the shine off one’s life.
