Genesis 27:40
40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
2 Kings 8:20
20 In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:
There are many lessons to learn from the life of Esau (also known as Edom) but we will be drawing the curtain on his life today.
When Isaac blessed Esau, he said “And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” Genesis 27:40. It takes dominion power to break evil yokes. Isaiah 10:27 says “…. And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Thank God for Esau, his descendants were able to break the yoke of servitude but not without a fight; they revolted. 2 Kings 8:20 says “In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.”

I don’t know the yokes under which you have been laboring, an end comes to it today in the name of Jesus. Beloved, we need to fight for our freedom. There is a price to pay for liberty. If you are indeed tired of been tired, you need to revolt against the tyrants that are holding you captive.
However, you cannot be free on. Your own, you need the anointing that breaks yokes. You need a superior dominion power to come out of captivity. To connect to this anointing: 1. you need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ Repent of all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life. 2. You need to live a holy life 3. You need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues 4. You need to declare war against the tyrants in the place of fervent prayers. All of these will give you the dominion power and anointing to break evil yokes.
It is time to arise and fight against every power holding us captive and shake away every yoke of darkness. Remember, beloved, that slaves who love their chains will remain in bondage.
MORNING
- Anointing that breaks the yoke, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Ancestral tyrants holding me down, receive the hammer of God and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Dominion power of God, overshadow me, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Yokes of slavery and servitude, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- I shake away every chain of stagnancy, in the name of Jesus.
- I come out of every ancestral cage, in the name of Jesus.
- By the blood of Jesus, I am free, in the name of Jesus.
