MFM Devotional For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
Shame is a sense of failure in someone else’s eyes. It can cause you to see yourself as a failure, and make you want to run away and hide. Shame is excruciating and emotionally painful in life.
The devil, who is the accuser of the brethren, employs our human mistakes, shortcomings, errors and personal challenges to amplify the opportunity for shame.
You may have roots of shame from the unkind, unfair, or untruthful things people said about you. Their voices may be stuck in your head, leading you to believe you are not good enough.

Shame is one of the most difficult emotions that can affect you. It is hard to spot on your own, yet, it can pervade through almost every area of your life.
Victory over the spirit of shame is possible with Christ’s help. He has paid the price for our sins, even the worst sins that cause you to feel ashamed.
Being a Christian, God does not hold you in shame, no matter what you believe about yourself. Because Jesus died on the cross for every bad thing you ever said or did, those shameful deeds are no longer held against you. Your acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice on your behalf frees you from the spirit of shame. Yet, many Christians still struggle with feelings of shame even after they have trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
The devil wants to hold you down with your past mistakes, and shame is one of his favourite weapons. You need to fully receive God’s grace and ask for His help for victory over the spirit of shame.
You can start the journey of victory over shame by replacing shame-filled thoughts with the hope-filled truths in God’s Word. When you decide to put your hope in God’s word, trusting Him daily, He will begin to erase your shame day by day.
Ask God for help each time you are tempted to revisit those time-worn paths towards shame. Meditate on God’s Word to learn the pathways towards abundant life and follow those paths instead.

MORNING
- Father, I declare today that I am lifted above shame and disgrace, in the name of Jesus.
- Every curse in my life and destiny, I declare you null and void, in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil door opened in my life, be sealed, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- O Lord, arrest the spirit of shame and disgrace in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, baptize me with the spirit of faith to overcome shame and disgrace, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost, baptize me with the spirit of wisdom to overcome shame and disgrace in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost, baptize me with Your grace to live above shame, in the name of Jesus.
