MESSAGE:

Knowledge is not inbuilt in anybody; everyone has to acquire it. One of the ways to acquire it is reading. When you read, you will know the mind of the author. There is however, another means of acquiring knowledge; it is asking questions. A question is a sentence that seeks to get information about a subject matter. It is a doorway to knowledge. There are many innovations and great discoveries in the world today because some persons questioned certain things. There is an adage that says he who asks questions never makes mistakes.

When you ask questions, you will make fewer mistakes in life because you will get information that will guide you to take the right decisions. So, don’t join other students to echo yes sir when the teacher asks if they understood what was taught. If you don’t, ask questions. One of the ways to know an intelligent person is the way he or she asks questions. So, ask intelligent questions, put your words together before speaking and dont ask questions about what you already know. When you meet successful people, ask them questions so that you can learn from their wealth of knowledge.

KEY POINT:

When you ask questions, you gain knowledge

HYMN: All Things Bright And Beautiful

  1. All things bright and beautiful,
    All creatures great and small,
    All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
  2. Each little flower that opens,
    Each little bird that sings,
    He made their glowing colours,
    He made their tiny wings.
  3. The purple-headed mountain,
    The river running by,
    The sunset, and the morning
    That brightens up the sky.
  4. The cold wind in the winter,
    The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
    He made them every one.
  5. He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
    How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
