TOPIC: Eternal Death (Open Heaven for Teens, 20 February 2026)

BIBLE READING: 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
MESSAGE:
Eternal death is not God’s will for anyone because it is the ultimate separation from Him, which is only reserved for those who reject His salvation. It is a tragic and irreversible consequence for those whose names are not found in the Book of Life.

Beyond physical death, those who die without accepting Christ will face spiritual and eternal death. For instance, the rich man in the Bible who maltreated Lazarus experienced eternal torment after his physical death. He pleaded for another chance to return to earth and warn his family about the dangers of hell, but his request was denied (Luke 16:19-31).
My dear child, you have the opportunity to escape eternal death now that you are alive. Once you leave this world, the gates of mercy will be shut forever. If you are still a sinner, now is the time to make your ways right with God; forsake your sins completely, and commit to obeying His Word.
KEY POINT:
The only escape from eternal death is in Jesus. Accept Him now if you’re yet to do so.
