MEMORISE: Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; Romans 12:11
BIBLE READING: Leviticus 6:10-13 (KJV)
10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
MESSAGE:
When a person receives salvation, his or her spirit is awakened, and God’s fire is ignited, as he or she continues to walk in holiness and devotion. However, maintaining this spiritual fire requires diligence, consistency, and a deep desire for God.

In today’s Bible reading, God commanded that “A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” Just as the priests in the Old Testament ensured that the fire on the altar never went out, you must also keep the fire of your relationship with God burning. This fire symbolises purity, zeal, and the power of the Holy Spirit, which enables you to stand boldly for Christ and overcome spiritual challenges.
To maintain a daily spiritual fire, stay committed to prayer, worship, and obedience. Ask the Holy Spirit to renew your heart daily. Avoid sin, distractions, and negative influences that could weaken your faith. You also need to surround yourself with believers who are positively minded. Child of God, when you maintain a daily spiritual fire, you will be able to easily overcome every challenge that comes your way.
PRAYER POINT:
Avoid sin and any distraction that can quench your fire.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Matthew 24:1-22, Exodus 39-40
HYMN 8 – Through The Love Of God Our Saviour
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.
2 Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well.
Ours is such a full salvation,
all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,
fruitful, if in Christ abiding,
holy, through the Spirit’s guiding,
all must be well.
3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
‘All, all is well.’
On our Father’s love relying,
Jesus every need supplying,
in our living, in our dying,
all must be well.
