BIBLE READING: Isaiah 55:8-11

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

MESSAGE:

The peculiarity of God is beyond the human thought process. This is the reason He can’t be boxed by your thinking. You may say that biologically, a woman cannot have a child without a womb, but our God, who supersedes biology, has actually grown a set of twins inside the stomach of a woman who had no womb!

Sometimes, I refer to God as the One who shows off His mightiness to show His magnificence. If there’s a more complex sentence to describe God, then He deserves it because His works are just so wonderful.

My dear child, are you presently going through moments where you feel overwhelmed or situations that you think you can never push through? Do you feel so discouraged that you feel God cannot help you? I want you to believe that nothing is difficult for God. Take whatever is bothering you to Him in prayers now, and ask Him to show off His wonder in your life.

PRAYER POINT

Father, please perform wonders in all areas of my life. Showcase your magnificence through me, in Jesus’ name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Ruth 2:1-4:22, John 4:43-54

HYMN 60 – Most Ancient Of All Mysteries

1 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Before Thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.

2 When heav’n and earth were yet unmade,
When time was yet unknown,
Thou in Thy bliss and majesty
Didst live and love alone.

3 Thou wert not born; there was no fount
From which Thy Being flowed;
There is no end which Thou canst reach;
But Thou art simply God.

4 How wonderful creation is,
The work which Thou didst bless,
And O what then must Thou be like,
Eternal loveliness!

5 0 listen then, most pitiful,
To Thy poor creature’s heart:
It blesses Thee that Thou art God,
That Thou art what Thou art.

6 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Still at thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.
