TOPIC: Make Your Life Count (Scroll down for RCCG House Fellowship 15 March 2026 Anthem)
OPENING PRAYER: Father, help me to make a positive impact in Your kingdom and in the lives of others around me.
MEMORY VERSE: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. – John 15:5 (KJV)
BIBLE TEXT: John 15:1-8 (KJV)
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

LESSON INTRODUCTION: Jesus Christ lived a perfect life. His impact is everlasting. Philippians 2:5-11. As His sons and daughters, we should live our lives to positively impact others for commitment, service, love and dedication to our God, like Apostle Paul. 1 Cor. 11:1. There is assurance of divine rewards now and when we meet in glory.
LESSON AIM: To help members understand making life count.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to:
- Get to know God
- Stay connected to God.
TEXT REVIEW: John 15:1-8
- God is the Husband man while our Lord Jesus is the True Vine.
- Every branch that refuses to produce results will be destroyed.
- Getting access to a productive life starts from being connected to the TRUE VINE.
- When believers bear fruits, God is glorified.
LESSON OUTLINE ONE: GET TO KNOW GOD. PHILLIPIANS 3:10
Knowing God is full of benefits and persecution. Apostle Paul, as a case study, gave us the beauty of knowing God.
1 It brings strength and delivery of ability to do exploits. Daniel 11:32
- It ends fruitless efforts. Luke 5:1-7
- It keeps you secured in the midst of dangers and opposition. Three Hebrew boys remained unperturbed even when they saw fiery furnace Daniel 3:16-25
- It brings one to the desired end and fulfilment of dreams. Joseph still got his dreams actualized.
- Knowing God builds your trust in God, no matter the difficulties. Psalm 23.
- It makes enemies unbalanced and bewildered. Haman was confused concerning Mordecai’s unyielding attitude to his threat.
- There will be power to challenge adversaries. Exodus 34:29-35.
- All battles are won in your favour
LESSON OUTLINE TWO: STAY CONNECTED TO GOD
To stay connected to God means to remain attached to Him in visions, goals, obedience and absolute trust in His dynamic ability so that we maintain our identity as the branch, get nourished by the vine, produce fruits for the vine and be pruned regularly to produce more fruits. John 15:2. You are to stay connected to the VINE for:
a. Daily nourishment. 1 Corinthians. 2:10-16, 1 Timothy 3:16,
b. More fruitfulness through the sharing of the gospel to the unsaved souls. Matthew 28:19,20, John 15:16
c. Regular Pruning through personal devotion, bible study and prayers. 1 Timothy 3:16, 17.
d. Intensive fellowshipping and discipline. You must not always stay at your comfort zone.
e Identity’s maintenance. Matthew 7:16
f. Instructions and avoiding distractions.
SUMMARY: Making life count is the assignment given to all believers. Matthew 5:16. We all must do everything in our capacity to make sure we bring glory to God through our obedience, commitment to divine objectives and attainment to full stature in Christ.
CONCLUSION: Hebrews 12:1. We are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses who made an impact in their generation despite the challenges they faced, like Apostle Peter. Apostle Paul. Smith Wigglesworth, Catherine Kulman, etc. We have leaders and fathers in the Lord like our Daddy E. A. Adeboye has been and is still making a positive impact in this generation. We need to request from the throne of mercy for grace to impact our own generation.
WEEKLY ACTIVITY: Discuss some biblical characters that distorted their lives’ journey through carelessness.
