OPENING PRAYER: Father, please reveal your deep secrets to me by your Spirit in Jesus’ name.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: The leaders should remind the members on last topic on buying time.
MEMORY VERSE: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
BIBLE TEXT: 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV)
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
LESSON INTRODUCTION: Eyes have not seen means the physical eyes cannot see spiritual things neither can the heart understand them because the wonderful things God has freely given us are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14. The wonderful things that God has prepared for His elect can only be revealed to us by His Spirit, and only those who have the Holy Spirit in them can know and understand the wonderful things God has prepared for us.
LESSON AIM: To make members understand that the wonderful things God has prepared for us can only be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to;
- Understand that none can see or understand things of God with physical senses.
- Understand that the things of God are only revealed by the Spirit.
TEXT REVIEW: 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
- Physical senses cannot discern the things of God.
- God has prepared wonderful things for those who love Him
- Only the Holy Spirit knows the mind of God.
- Holy Spirit searches and reveals God’s deep secrets to us.
LESSON OUTLINE ONE: THE WONDER OF GOD
The Wonder of God is the wisdom of God in a mystery which He ordained before the ages and was revealed to those whose spiritual eyes were opened to discern it. These are the believers in Christ Jesus who love God.
THE WONDERS OF GOD REVEALED.
a. The virgin will conceive a child who will reconcile man to God. Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23.
b. Jesus is the power and wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:24.
c. Jesus came to save people from their sins. Matthew 1:21.
d. Whosoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but become God’s child. John. 1:12, 3:16.
e. As God’s children, we are joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17.
LESSON OUTLINE TWO: GOD HAS GREATER PLANS FOR YOU.
- His plans for you are good, and to give you the expected end, future and hope. Jeremiah 29:11
- To prepare a place for you in heaven and take you there to be with Him. John 14:2,3
- Jesus never left you empty. He gave you His Holy Spirit, the Comforter. John 16:12-14.
- You are divinely endowed to carry on a divine task. With great effect, Acts 1:0
- You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the seal of salvation. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
- Jesus is coming back soon with His rewards for the people according to their works. Revelation 22:12.
SUMMARY: God has revealed His wonder to His children who are heirs together with Christ of His glory by His Holy Spirit.
CONCLUSION: The Spirit of God reveals the mysteries of God to those who love God. Therefore, to access the deep secrets of God, you must be born again, love the Lord and have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
ACTIVITY: If you have not received the Holy Spirit, ask the Heavenly Father to give you, and if you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, thank God for His Spirit in you.
PRAYER POINTS.
- Father, please endow me divinely to carry out the divine task with great effect.
- Father, prepare me for a great harvest in these end times.
- Father, increase desire for righteousness in the heart of all believers.
- Father, please tame every lustful trait that will jeopardize my walk with you.
- Father, reveal your end-time wonders through me from now.

TUESDAY: Telling the truth gives man great satisfaction
WEDNESDAY: A fool thinks he needs no advice, while a wise man listens to others.

FRIDAY: A fool is quick-tempered tempered while a wise man listens to others.
SATURDAY: Joy fills the hearts that are planning good things.
SUNDAY: The good man’s life is full of light; the sinner’s road is dark and gloomy.
