OPENING PRAYER: Father, keep every member of this centre under your management in Jesus’ name.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: The leaders should remind the members of last week’s discussion on loving God and the rewards of loving God.
MEMORY VERSE: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder:…” – Isaiah 9:6(KJV)
BIBLE TEXT: Isaiah 9:6-7 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
LESSON INTRODUCTION: At creation, men lost God’s provisions for their wellbeing when they fell into the deceit of the devil, curses, afflictions, toiling, hatred and killing overtook the beautiful things God made for his creature, but thank God for the price that was made by Jesus, our new government that brought sanity and atmosphere of peace to the world at large. Sin is a sinker, knowing God makes life void of pain and guarantees a secure future.
LESSON AIM: To make members understand that there is old before the new management.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to;
- Know that there was an old management of darkness at the fall
- Know that new management is full of joy, profiting and propelling.
TEXT REVIEW: Isaiah 9:6-7.
- God’s love brought Jesus for us for a special assignment.
- As partakers and joint heirs with Christ, we are entitled to royal blessings.
- Of the increase of His government and peace, there shall be no end.
- The zeal of the Lord of hosts, the passionate commitment of the Lord will perform it.
LESSON OUTLINE ONE: OLD MANAGEMENT, SCARY AND TORMENTORS
When God made heaven and earth, He made it beautiful. The Bible says it was excellent in every way. Genesis 1:31 and God gave the first man, Adam, a help meet, i.e. the life-giving one, Genesis 3:20, but when sin came, there was an exchange of government which led to shame and groaning. Let’s look at the attributes of the old government of satan before redemption through the shed blood of Christ at calvary;
a. Hunting for innocent souls to devour. Genesis 3:1, 1 Peter 5:8.
b. Total destruction of lives for no reason. Esther 3:9
c. Government known as adversary of the believers, God’s people. 1 Peter 5:8.
d. Aims to maliciously slander Almighty God. Genesis 3:1, Luke 22:3-4, Acts 5:3
e. It is a government that brings evil to the world system and controls it.
f. It initiates rebellion, disobedient acts of children to parents and all ungodliness.
LESSON OUTLINE TWO: NEW MANAGEMENT THAT IS DIVINE
The word management means administration, i.e. act of supervising, managing the conduct, performance, execution of plans and programmes (agenda). In John 19:30, a new government was enthroned at Calvary when Jesus gave up the ghost i.e. the wickedness of satan was finished and ended. If any man be in Christ according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, he becomes a brand new person inside, he is not the same anymore, a new life has begun. In Christ administration, there are a lot of benefits:
a. New life has started and restoration is enthroned. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
b. Curses are cancelled and annihilated. Galatians 3:13
c. Lost blessings that were pronounced at creation were regained. Galatians 3:14
d. The demons, the tormentors, were relocated to the abyss.
e. Ever-expanding peaceful government shall never end. Isaiah 9:7
f. There is freedom in being under His government. John 8:32.
g. Breaking of boundaries and limitations. Philippians 4:13
SUMMARY: As partakers and joint heirs with Christ, we are entitled to royal blessings.
CONCLUSION: God’s love brought Jesus for us for a special assignment.
WEEKLY ACTIVITY: Let the class mention the dangers of being under old management and the benefits of new management.
PRAYER POINTS.
- Father, deal with all evil hunters for innocent souls to devour.
- Father, destroy all avenues made by enemies to mortgage innocent lives for no reason.
- Father, stop all governments known as adversaries of the believers, God’s people.
- Father, amputate all demonic aims to maliciously slander Almighty God.
- Father, bring to an end the world’s evil system.

TUESDAY: Abraham’s blessings came as a result of the price Jesus paid.
WEDNESDAY: Peaceful government was a right for God’s children
THURSDAY: Breaking of boundaries and limitations. Philippians 4:13
FRIDAY: There is freedom in being under His government. John 8:32.
SATURDAY: When you accept the divine offer of salvation, the tormentors of God’s children are relocated.
SUNDAY: In Christ, all lost blessings were regained at Calvary.
