SCRIPTURE: I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you believe is a determinant of what you can receive.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
It is established throughout Scripture that our God is a good God. Goodness is a major department of His Nature. As a people, we have experienced His goodness in many ways.
Psalm 136:1 says, O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
The baseline is, God is good, He is very good. And the devil is bad, thoroughly bad.
However, there are keys to experiencing the goodness of God in dimensions that no one can claim ignorance of.

Today, we shall be looking at what to do to experience the goodness of God.
1. Seek first the kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. That is, make God your priority. Make His kingdom’s purpose, His agenda, your priority, and all these good things shall be yours. You won’t lack any good things if you make God your number one priority in life. Your passion for God determines your portion in life. If you can pursue God as your life’s priority, you won’t struggle to pursue good.
2. Walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). To walk uprightly is to experience the goodness of God. If your desire is to experience the goodness of God, avoid all forms of unrighteousness and crookedness.
3. Believe to receive (Psalm 27:13). The goodness of the Lord does not belong to everyone; it belongs to those who believe. Everything in life is on to you according to your faith. What you believe is a determinant of what you can receive. In God, you don’t arrive anywhere by chance; you arrive by faith (Job 14:14).
4. Refuse to faint (Psalm 27:13). The devil would always tempt you to give up, just before you experience the goodness of God. You must refuse to faint (Hebrews 6:12, Galatians 6:9). Refuse to give up. Let the devil be the one to give up.
Remember this: What you believe is a determinant of what you can receive.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Refuse to give up in life; study and believe the Word of God to grow your faith.
- Put God first in everything you do.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to seek first Your kingdom and walk in righteousness. I believe in your Word, and I refuse to faint until I see your goodness in dimensions that will silence the devil and his agents, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
