SCRIPTURE: And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. – Habakkuk 2:1
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People of vision know that destiny is time sensitive.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
In life, there are products and byproducts. The product is good, in fact very good; it is the ultimate, but the byproduct can be excellent as well. In the process of getting petrol by refining crude oil, other byproducts that can be gotten. After you have gotten the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), the real petrol, the products for servicing engine oil, road construction, etc. can also be gotten from the same crude oil.
This also applies to vision; there are byproducts that accompany vision in life. I call them the goodness of vision.
Today, we are going to look at one of the goodness of vision – Vision impacts a sense of urgency.
Our anchor scripture confirms that people of vision are runners. …that he may run that readeth it (Habakkuk 2:1). People of vision are people with a sense of urgency.
Beloved, please note these about the sense of urgency.
- Vision causes people to place very high value and premium on time. People of vision value time. Every time you see a person who has no vision, he lacks value for time. People of vision know that destiny is time sensitive.
Consider this illustration: someone went to the airpor, and another person who was traveling nowhere engaged him in a discussion. And he neatly missed his flight on the frequency of his association with a man without vision. When the flight was announced, he did not hear. But if he was in the company of those who were traveling on the same flight, they would have listened to the flight announcement together or reminded each other when the announcement was made.
- Vision brings deliverance from both indecision and procrastination. Indecision is the inability to make up one’s mind on time. Procrastination is a delay in carrying out a necessary action.
Get this: people of vision think through their option diligently and make up their minds quickly. People without vision have no time to think through anything, and they make up their minds sluggishly.
It is better not to miss the road at all, but if you missed the road, then retrace your steps to the right path. By doing so, you would know more roads, both how to succeed and how not to succeed. It is far better to change your course than to die on the same spot.
Remember this: People of vision know that destiny is time sensitive.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Have at least a vision in front of you that you are pursuing per time.
- Avoid the company of visionless people.
- Ask God for the grace to accomplish your visions.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to conceive the right vision. Help me to run with it and accomplish it to the glory of Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
