SCRIPTURE: Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed. Joshua 13:1
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who arrive too early usually stop at the place where God wants them to start.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE
In our anchor Scripture, God reminded Joshua that though he was old and advanced in years, there was still much land to possess. In essence, God was telling Joshua, “You marked your victories in the previous chapter, but the task is not yet finished’.
Beloved, how would you feel knowing that time is against you, and God says, “You have celebrated your achievement, but the work remaining is much?” The truth is, only those who don’t do major things have time to count what they have achieved. Those who do things that count don’t wait to count them. They are in a hurry to make more impacts.

Premature arrival is the enemy of ultimate fulfilment. When people get satisfied too quickly while the journey is still ahead of them, they get distracted from reaching where God wants them to reach.
Beloved, to arrive early is to arrive too little. Don’t succeed too early. One of our young men is doing some work in a particular industry, and God is blessing him with some millions. He once asked me, “Can I place my picture on billboards for some adverts? Can I be the face of my brand?” And I told him, “Relax first, don’t be in a hurry to show up. Remain under the radar and just be moving like a submersible. That way, great results will be happening, but no one would know who is behind them. Then, when it is too late for you to be stopped, when your results are everywhere like fire, you can show up.”
Many people are the reasons for the witchcraft attacks in their lives. Before you could even start life, you took a big Mercedes to your village. Then the witches and wizards asked each other, “Where were you looking before this boy became successful?”
If God could tell Joshua that there was still much land to possess even at Joshua’s old age, then you have no excuse to stop your journey halfway.
Some time ago, a man told me that he was not sure what he could do with his life at 57. I told him, “At age 57, you should be thinking of a minimum of 30 more solid years of drastic results. You haven’t started yet.”
I have permanently refused to be old. Someone said, “You are dancing on the floor and jumping like a teenager.” I told the person, “Do you know how old I am? I am in my 20s, just that I have many years of experience.”
Moses was called into ministry at age 80. Then he fulfilled his 40-year assignment and retired at age 120.
Consider Abraham too. When Sarah died, Abraham was about 125 years old. He married a new wife at that age 125 and gave birth to six more children, including Midian, the father of the Midianites, a whole nation (Genesis 25:1-4). Abraham refused to be held back by age.
Beloved, don’t be in a hurry to show up. Hurry slowly. Keep moving with speed under radar.
REMEMBER THIS: Those who arrive too early stop at the place where God wants them to start.

- Don’t be in a hurry to show up; keep pressing forward to make a greater impact.
PRAYER: Father, help me not to stop where you want me to start. Deliver me from the arrival mentality, and give me the grace to fulfil my destiny, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
