TOPIC: Prayer As A Pathway To Wisdom (Seeds Of Destiny 25 February 2026)
SCRIPTURE: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. – James 1:5.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People of prayer are people of wisdom.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
One of the greatest needs of mankind today is the need for wisdom, direction, guidance, and light from God. Many people are where they are today because of the bankruptcy of wisdom, Divine guidance, direction, and revelation.
And there are serious consequences for lack of wisdom. That is why wisdom is very crucial. For example, lives are wasted and destiny is destroyed for lack of wisdom.
Time is squandered for lack of wisdom. One of the greatest tragedies in life is to have time but lack the wisdom of what to do with it. The journey of life and destiny is arrested for lack of wisdom. In other words, stagnation sets in where wisdom is lacking. Relationships are destroyed for lack of wisdom. Many relationships, families, and marriages have ended because of lack of wisdom.

Now, what are the pathways to wisdom?
Today, we shall be looking at a life of prayer as one of the pathways to accessing the wisdom of God.
The place of prayer is the place of wisdom, guidance and direction. People of prayer are people of wisdom. People of prayer are people guided and directed by God.
Moses was a typical example. Moses, the veteran intercessor, lived in the Presence of God. He stayed on the mountain for forty days and forty nights without food or water. He was a prayer warrior. This same Moses was a wisdom depot. Moses connected wisdom in the presence of the All-Wise God. He laid hands on Joshua, and Joshua was filled with the spirit of wisdom (Deuteronomy 34:9). That shows that it is what a man has that he can give.
Now, what is Wisdom? Wisdom is the ability to translate vision into reality. It is the capacity to maximize opportunities. Opportunities are passing by, but it is wisdom that helps you recognize and maximize them.
Wisdom is also the effective management of people and resources to achieve desired objectives. The difference between losses and increase is wisdom.
Beloved, you must know beyond what you know now to leave where you are now. What you know has brought you to where you are; knowing more will take you further. Common sense produces common life. It takes supernatural wisdom to experience supernatural living. Light is in degrees. And your level of light determines the difference you make. Greater light produces greater impact.
So, how do you get Wisdom?
- Wisdom is accessed through the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). Righteousness assists with wisdom, but sin ruins sense.
- Love for God opens the treasures of wisdom. Your affection for God determines the level of revelation you receive from Him (2Chronicles 1:6-11).
- Desperate desire for wisdom. What is not desired cannot be delivered (1Kings 3:1-5).
- Praying in the Spirit (1Corinthians 14:2). It connects you to the mind of God where mysteries and wisdom flow.
- Joy. (Isaiah 12:3). Depression or wrong emotions hinder the flow of inspiration; it hinders the flow of wisdom.
Remember this: People of prayer are people of wisdom.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Maintain a consistent schedule for prayer and be committed to it.
- Ask God for the grace to operate in Divine wisdom.
- Obey Divine instruction without delay.
PRAYER: Thank You, Lord for Your Word to me today. I acknowledge my need for wisdom, and I ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
