TOPIC: Establishing God’s Plan And Purpose (Seeds Of Destiny 26 February 2026)
SCRIPTURE: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God has a purpose for you, and the understanding of that purpose is what determines the realization of it.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Our anchor scripture reveals that God has a perfect plan and purpose for His children. He also has a plan and purpose for every new season.
Psalm 19:1-2 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. So, there is something heaven is saying each day. There is an utterance per day. There is an utterance per night. Your spiritual posture and positioning are the determinants of your hearing and seeing.

Now, it has been discovered that not all things said come to pass. Some things were said, but they did not come to pass.
Why is it so? This is because we have a responsibility in the matter.
So, in today’s study, we shall be looking at what we need to do to establish the plan and purpose of God in our lives.
- Understand God’s plan and purpose for your life
Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God has a purpose for you, and the understanding of that purpose is what determines the realization of it.
- Agree with God’s plan and purpose.
Mary said in Luke 1:38, ‘Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word’. And Amos 3:3 says, ‘Can two walk together, except they be agreed?’
So, you must surrender to the absolute plan and purpose of God for your life. Agree with God’s plan for your health, family, work, and relationship. Many people doubt when prophetic words come. Don’t argue about it. Don’t doubt it. Believe it.
- Accept your responsibility
Accept your side of the responsibility for the fulfillment of God’s plan and purpose for you. Act worthy of God’s purpose. Live worthy of it.
Samson was meant to have an unusual anointing, but there were instructions attached to it. Samson violated those instructions and lost the mantle (Judges 13:5). So, there is a responsibility to accept. Show God that you are ready for what He wants to do by behaving accordingly.
- Establish God’s plan at the place of prayer.
Matthew 6:9–10 teaches us to pray, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9–10 went to the place of prayer and established the purpose of God, and God granted him that which he requested.
- Resist contrary forces.
Resist contrary forces to God’s plan, purpose, promise, and prophecy for your life through spiritual warfare.
1 Timothy 1:18 says, …according to the prophecies which went before you, you might war a good warfare.
Proverbs 19:21 says, “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
Beloved, at the place of prayer, you must insist on the fulfillment of the purpose and prophecies of God for your life. Do not go to sleep when prophecies are released; war with them and watch them come to pass.
Remember this: God has a purpose for you, and the understanding of that purpose is what determines the realization of it.

- Go through the steps to take to establish God’s plan and purpose for your life again as outlined in today’s study.
- Take out time today to war with every Word of prophecy released concerning your life from the Scripture and from the declaration of God’s servant over the congregation.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to accept the responsibility needed to experience the establishment of Your purpose and plan for my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
