TOPIC: Mercy And Grace Found You (TREM Devotional 12 January 2026)
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” – 1 Timothy 1:12–13 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, if you do not truly understand what happened to you when you became born again, you will not be able to maximise the divine deposits of God within you. When the revelation of what Christ accomplished for you through the gospel dawns on your heart, your entire life will be consumed with passion for Him.
No one will need to beg, pressure, or manipulate you to serve God. Serving Him becomes your greatest joy and deepest desire. It ceases to be a duty, it becomes a delight. That’s what Apostle Paul expressed when he said: “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV)
The grace of God was Paul’s fuel. It wasn’t external pressure that made him labour; it was gratitude. He remembered that he was once a blasphemer and a persecutor, yet mercy found him. Grace turned his mess into ministry and his failure into fruitfulness.
Child of God, do you realise that mercy also found you? Do you understand that you’ve been redeemed from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son? (Colossians 1:13)
Do you know that you carry Heaven’s badge of authority, that you are an authorised representative of the Kingdom?
Scripture declares, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)
All of this happened because the grace and mercy of God found you. Never take that lightly. Live each day as one who has been rescued, chosen, and empowered by grace. Let that awareness stir in you a burning desire to serve Him wholeheartedly.
Grace found you, now let grace move you.
