TOPIC: You Don’t Need To Worry (TREM Devotional 22 May 2025)
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6 KJV)
MESSAGE:
You can grow in age and still be fresh and young. Many a time, people do not believe my age when they get to know me. This is simply because I have decided to rest. Beloved, why do you stress yourself when you cannot even create a strand of your hair? You stress yourself so much and end up developing sicknesses and diseases. Child of God, you need to stop stressing.
Jesus has finished everything. Do you know why some of the things you desire might not yet have manifested? It may be simply because you are stressing yourself unnecessarily. I’ve said it many times and it bears repetition, that God cannot be working, and you are working at the same time. God says, I will not slumber and I will not sleep because of you. And you are saying ‘No, I do not trust you to sort me out; I need to get it done myself’. Beloved, the day you stop stressing yourself, the blessing of God will start gravitating towards you.
Do not allow yourself to be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Instead, tell God every detail of your life. You know some people carry on in their Christian experience as if God wants them to be struggling. The Lord is not a taskmaster. The more you learn about God, the more you will find out that some of the things you heard about God in your formative years, are not the truth. God loves you with an everlasting love. His love is irrevocable, such that even when you fail, He still loves you. It does not vacillate.
There is nothing the devil brings against you that can defeat you. You carry the seal of God over your life. You have His unmerited favour. You have His grace. You have His anointing. You have everything that it takes to succeed. Therefore, whatever you lay your hands upon to do in righteousness, shall prosper. Creation will bow to you. God will connect you to your vision helpers, and your story will not end in shame nor disaster. It will end in celebration. That is why you do not have to worry. Jesus has perfected it all – once and for all time!
